Gerda Liebmann’s work crafts connections. She brings artists from around the world together and links audiences with spiritual themes. Her pieces are meaningful beyond a visual level.

One could say Liebmann’s work has purpose.

Liebmann is a visual artist originally from Switzerland. After working as a graphic designer, she moved to the US and began a community church with her husband. She works in a wide variety of mediums including large-scale installations, acrylics, photos and prints.

Robert O’Connor

Robert O’Connor strives to make people “stop.”

O’Connor’s work is provocative and intriguing. Yet, despite the suggestive quality of his pieces, he says his goal is simply to provide people with a moment of escape.

“Good art work makes people stop in their tracks,” he says. “They forget about themselves for a moment, and they think about the larger ideas of life.”

O’Connor is a multimedia artist living in Atlantic Highlands. He works in video, paint and prints. His work is thoughtful and layered, even his videos seem to have a painterly quality.

John Salvi

"The Artist as Polyphemus," "Leaving Her," "Mephisto," "Redementia," and "Shantung"

John Salvi is a student of his surroundings. He learns in the classroom at the Art Students League of New York, he learns from the renovations occurring in his home in Monmouth Beach, and he learns through the imperfections he encounters everyday.

Salvi is a painter, printmaker, and photographer who began his career as a science teacher. After retiring, he became a student of the arts and began taking classes.
